Sweet Talking Bear

sweet-talking-bear_main

In this, the age of communication, you need never be far from home, what with email, telephones and the like. Yet technology becomes rather sterile and impersonal compared with the comforting warmth of this Sweet Talking Bear.

There’s nothing like hearing a loved one’s comforting voice when they are far away, and this teddy bear goes some way to making up for the lack of their presence (unless of course, your loved one is less than 30cm high, fluffy, and has a voice recorder hidden inside them, in which case it will go a long way). Simply pre-record your personal message and the ones you leave behind will have a mini, fluffy replacement that will console your family with the sound of your voice. Make sure you don’t stay away for too long though, as you may find that within a matter of weeks your wife or girlfriend would rather go to bed with this snuggly bear than you (husbands and boyfriends may take longer to sway). Comforting and microwaveable, this teddy is perfect for children and grown-ups alike when that special someone is far, far away.

Features>>>

•A huggable, loveable bear with a warm tummy and recordable voice.
•Simply press the record button (R) on the bears ear to record up to a 10 second message. You can re-record the message as many times as you want.
•Playback is easily achieved by pressing the (P) button on the bears other ear.
•The wheat bag must be removed from the bear to microwave.
•Please ensure that an adult heats the wheat bag.
•Heating times: 1 min 30 secs at 1000 watts, 2 min at 800 watts, 2 min 30 secs at 650 watts.
•Suitable for children age 5 years+
•WARNING: do not place whole toy in microwave.
•Size: 36 x 33 x 11cm.

Cyber Clean

August 25, 2009 Leave a comment

cyber-clean_main

A beard and a computer keyboard. Two things you wouldn’t necessarily put together, unless you’re a member of ZZ Top answering fan emails. Then comes the fateful day you attempt to spring clean your desk and find enough facial hair to choke a badger snugly nestled in between your QWERTY keys. And they’re not alone.

Think back to the last time you washed your hands after using your keyboard. You never have, have you? Neither have we. Yet apparently they store more bacteria than a public toilet seat. Which is nice. Then, sludging its way over the horizon, you see a blob of aggressively yellow quivering goo inching its way towards you. Should you run? Walk? Call Steve McQueen? Have no fear, Cyber Clean is here.

This bright and perky little Flubber lookalike manages to squidge its way into the gaps of your computer keyboard instantly killing germs on contact and defluffifying the device like only a blob of goo can. No sticky residue to damage your precious electrical gadgets and no nasty bacteria either. Not only that, but it can be used with a host of other devices that gather fingerprints and bacteria. We had a great time making sure the office collection of mobile phones, MP3 Players and remote controls were completely free of crumbs and germs. Our photographer even managed to remove a particularly ancient piece of fluff from around his cameras zoom button, but he drew the line at using it to clean the lens. You just splodge it on to the gadget you want de-scummed, give it a good press and then peel it off. It even has a colour changing system to alert you when it is time to buy a new one. The bods who created Cyber Clean thought of everything, including a nice lemony scent to make your clean new gadget smell fresh and wonderful. Now stick it to those dirty germs.

Features>>>
•Cleaning tool that kills germs and removes dirt from particularly hard to reach areas by moulding into the shape it is pushed against.
•Comes in a neat little reseal-able pot.
•This is a cleaning product, not a toy, despite its likeness to silly putty.
•Suitable for use on most electrical devices, including mobile phones, remote controls, MP3 players, keyboards, cameras, the list just goes on.
•Please ensure all electrical equipment is unplugged before cleaning.
•Not suitable for cleaning camera lenses.
•Suitable for ages 14 years+.
•Size: 7.5 x 7cm.

Neon Power Ball

August 25, 2009 Leave a comment

neon-power-ball_main

One of the fastest non-motorised machines in the world! This latest Neon glowing computer-monitored version of Power Ball is meant to be a sports training tool, basically because it’s amazingly good at strengthening your forearms, wrists, fingers and grip. But the main reason we love it is it’s great for office competitions – just who’s the strongest and fastest – it’s all very Steve Austin.

The gizmo works by a combination of an internal gyroscope, centrifugal force and inertia. Once you get the central ball spinning, you rotate your wrists to build up speed. The top speed possible is 15,000 rpm – though we’ve never made it past 12,000 (wimps), and it exerts the most remarkable forces on your wrist – you really feel like you’ve had an arm workout! Playing with this is an almost guaranteed crowd puller, as everyone will want a go, and be determined to beat everyone else’s highest score. It’s dead clever, needs no batteries or motor, just pure gyroscopic power and a strong arm at 15000 rpm it’s exerting almost 40lbs of pressure on your arm!

The onboard computer can measure your current RPM, the most recent fastest speed (which is like ‘Top Score’ and is knocked out by anyone who’s faster), and also the most revolutions made in 30 seconds. It makes for some very competitive play and in the meantime has a remarkable effect on strengthening your arm and your grip. Put an end to wet fish handshakes, and get a grip on the Power Ball.

Features>>>

•Generates 40 lbs of force
•Built in speedometer
•Six program functions
•Internal window displays and records your achieved RPM
•Auto power shut-off
•Batteries included*
•Achieves speeds of up to 15,000 RPM
•Glows neon blue when spinning
•Great for sports training
•Improve your grip for when you’re next hanging from a cliff edge in cool shades with a smug smile on your face. Or of course for tennis, golf, squash, archery, fencing, etc
•Size: 7.5cm x 6.5cm
*Requires x 2 Watch style Batteries in the speedometer (included) which will provide three years worth of spinning if the power ball is used for one hour a day, not to mention very strong arms.

Everlasting Calendar Tape

August 24, 2009 Leave a comment

everlasting-calender-tape_main

Have you always had that niggling feeling in the back of your mind that the calendars in your life just don’t quite cut it? Have you ever wondered why it is that they don’t come in a handy adhesive roll to stick on anything you fancy? Well we hadn’t either to be honest, until we’d seen the Everlasting* Calendar Tape. Now the prayers we didn’t know we’d had have been answered. This bizarre but very simple concept brings together two of society’s most practical inventions; the calendar, and sticky tape (which we’re pretty sure hasn’t happened before), merging them into one fantastically impractical but nevertheless pretty darn original design.

The concept is simple – you receive two rolls of tape, one with weekdays and the other listing the dates. All you need to do is find a clean surface and stick the two bits of tape on either side of each other, creating your very own calendar wherever you are. You don’t even have to start at the beginning of the month. Just choose where you want to be on the sticky tape and stick away. If you get bored of it, well, it makes great parcel tape and it will give the postie something to talk about.

Features>>>

•Multi-functional sticky tape that works as a calendar, diary, organiser and planner.
•It’s also pretty useful as emergency sticky tape.
•Easily create each month in any day and date combination by using the two separate rolls and sticking them next to each other.
•Includes one roll of days, one roll of dates and a permanent marker pen.
•Suitable for ages 8 years+.
Size: –

•Date: 6cm (width).
•Weekday: 1.5cm (width).
